Our wallet top-up and refund guidelines

InstaKYC operates on a prepaid wallet model. Please read this policy carefully before adding funds to your wallet.

1. General Policy

All wallet top-ups on InstaKYC are generally non-refundable once the amount has been credited to your wallet and services have been consumed. However, we provide refunds in specific circumstances as outlined below.

2. Eligible Refund Cases

3. Non-Refundable Cases

  • Wallet balance used for successful KYC verifications
  • Top-up made voluntarily and services consumed as expected
  • Account suspended due to Terms of Service violation
  • Refund requested after 30 days of the transaction date
  • Amounts below ₹100 (processing cost exceeds refund value)

4. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund, email support@instakyc.in with the subject line "Refund Request – [Your Mobile Number]" and include:

  • Registered mobile number and email
  • Transaction date and UPI reference number
  • Amount paid and reason for refund request
  • Screenshot of payment confirmation (if available)

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment source (UPI account) within the timelines specified above. Refunds are processed only to the original payment method. We do not issue refunds via cash, cheque, or alternate payment methods.

6. Processing Fee

A processing fee of ₹25 or 2% of the refund amount (whichever is higher) may be deducted for account closure refunds. No fee is charged for refunds due to our system errors.
